1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CrewConnect ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

CrewConnect is a maritime crew hiring marketplace that connects vessel operators and employers with maritime crew members. The Platform facilitates connections but does not employ crew members or guarantee employment.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to access most Platform features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.

4. Crew Members

Crew members agree to provide accurate information about their certifications, experience, and availability. Misrepresentation of qualifications is grounds for immediate account termination.

5. Employers

Employers agree to post only legitimate job opportunities. Fraudulent postings are prohibited and will result in account termination.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) post false or misleading information; (b) harass or abuse other users; (c) attempt to circumvent the Platform's matching system; (d) scrape or collect user data without authorization.

8. Intellectual Property

CrewConnect retains all rights to the Platform and its technology. User-submitted content remains your property but you grant CrewConnect a license to display it on the Platform.

9. Platform Status and Disclaimers

CrewConnect is a marketplace platform operated by AH360 Photography LLC. CrewConnect is not an employment agency, staffing firm, or employer. We do not employ crew members, do not guarantee employment, and bear no responsibility for the employment relationship between users.

CrewConnect is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Information on CrewConnect should not be used as a "consumer report." Employers are solely responsible for conducting their own verification, background checks, and due diligence before making any hiring decisions. CrewConnect does not verify the accuracy, completeness, or validity of any information, credentials, or documents posted by users.

The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

10. Limitation of Liability

CrewConnect and AH360 Photography LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. CrewConnect is not responsible for the conduct of users, the accuracy of job postings, or the outcome of any hiring decisions made through the Platform.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CrewConnect, AH360 Photography LLC, and its officers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state courts of Broward County, Florida, or the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
